About the Designer

PROUDLY CELEBRATING MY 5TH YEAR IN BUSINESS!
Leigh-Ann (Andrako) Kline is an interior designer, by trade. After 10 years in the investment field and while working as an analyst for a large financial company in NYC, she became tired of working at a desk "crunching numbers" and decided to attend the esteemed New York School of Interior Design in Manhattan. While attending school part-time, she landed a job within the company she was working for designing their branch offices throughout the country. She later left to open her own residential interior design business after her husband was transferred to Pennsylvania. After the birth of her second child, she decided to leave her interior design business behind to raise her two children.
Looking to become inspired again, Leigh-Ann wanted to incorporate her love of design and passion for working with beautiful fabrics and trims. She wanted to do so without taking time away from her two young children. Her handbag business started unexpectedly when she saw someone carrying a simple bag with just a flower pin attached to it. She began to experiment with embellishing handbags. After selling 400 of them at various craft shows the month before Christmas 2004, she realized she was on to something. From there, she developed her line of designer handbags that is now known as Leigh-Ann Kline Handbags.
Leigh-Ann currently lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and two young boys.
